With reference to my despatch No.126 of the

18th March, 1926, on the subject of the retirement on pension of Inspector Robert Lanigan of the Hong Kong Police Force,

I have the honour to forward a copy of a report by the Captain Superintendent of Police, and in the circumstances to request that Inspector Lanigan may not be allowed the option of returning to the Colony for a further tour of duty.

I should be glad if the Crown Agents and Inspector Lanigan may be informed of your decision in the matter.
